Recently I've found about homeless dogs and cats shelter. It's being led by polish painter Bożena Wahl .
She doesn't have any donations from government or from anyone. She only lives from what she can gather from selling her paintings and people donations.
This lady was famous, but she resign from luxuries from carer and devoted to lead this shelter. Now she have really tough situation.

It doesn't take much to help. One visit in the cinema is more then a month of dog's living.

Since polish currency is very cheap now, it takes very little money to help.
The monthly coast of living for dogs is:
small dog - about $10 / 8€ / 40 polish zl
big dog - about $16 / 12€ / 60 polish zl

It's very easy to help. You can or pay any quote to whole shelter or VIRTUAL ADOPT a dog. It's easy. You choose a dog and pay for his living for as long as you want. Then your name is being display as the virtual owner of the dog.

People from Poland can share their 1% of taxes for this shelter. This way we don't pay to the government who doesn't care but directly to the shelter that is in need.

Also if you have any idea how this kind of shelter can be aid in longer term please tell me! Maybe in your country shelters have good ideas how to earn money for themselves? Please spread the news around dA and wherever you can! These are poor creatures. The foundation's name is "Last Chance" and it is true - it is their last chance...
